We have heard of silent films, but a silent TV show? A special episode of popular drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been shot without any dialogues to depict a grave turn in the story.

We have heard of silent films, but a silent TV show? A special episode of popular drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been shot without any dialogues to depict a grave turn in the story.

However, unlike silent films, the episode will have background music to intensify the grave silence in the household, said a press release.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the story of love finding way into an arranged marriage and how two strangers bond and blossom together after entering matrimony. Akshara and Naitik play a couple in the show.

The silent phase comes into play when she is blamed for encouraging Naitik's best friend Mohit and Naitik's elder sister Nandini to meet and fall in love. Since the entire family gets upset with Akshara, the music and silence has been used to heighten the pain experienced by her.

This episode will be aired on Friday at 9.30 pm.
