Delhi Police have stepped up security arrangements across the national capital ahead of Independence Day, with heightened vigilance being maintained at key locations, public spaces and sensitive areas. Security personnel have been deployed in large numbers as authorities prepare for the August 15 celebrations and expected movement of people across the city.
Police teams are conducting extensive checks and monitoring crowded areas, transport hubs, markets and other important installations. Additional security measures have also been put in place around major government buildings and venues associated with Independence Day events.
