Authorities have demolished another building in Delhi’s Seemapuri area following a deadly building collapse that raised fresh concerns over structural safety. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has also issued notices to three other buildings in the locality as officials examine possible safety violations. The earlier collapse in New Seemapuri killed at least four people, according to reports, and triggered a major rescue operation. The latest demolition is part of the response to the incident, as authorities assess nearby structures and investigate the circumstances surrounding the collapse. The action has renewed questions about building safety, enforcement and risks in densely populated parts of the capital.
