about the video

It’s the end of a long run for the Avengers and a rumored exit for both Robert Downey Jr. (”Iron Man”) and Chris Evans (”Captain America”) in the much-anticipated superhero film “Avengers: Endgame.” About five years ago, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige found himself on a retreat in Palm Springs plotting the future for the wild, experimental “cinematic universe” that he helped start in 2008. That was also the same year “Iron Man” was released, and the time Feige got close to the man known to many as Tony Stark. “Well, Robert Downey Jr. was an amazing actor the day I met him, he was an amazing person the day I met him, so he has continued being both of those things,” said Feige. “Seeing how he has evolved this character particularly up through ‘Endgame’ is really something to behold and I think is something that is astounding and will go down in history as one of the greatest acting feats, over 10 films, in 10 years and nobody could’ve done it except him and we wouldn’t be here today on the purple carpet for ‘Endgame’ without Robert (Downey Jr.).”
