Hamas Attack: Israeli Forces' Most Senior Officer To Die So Far - Nahal Brigade Commander Steinberg

Following Palestinian group Hamas' surprise offensive against Israel, the latter announced the death of its most senior military officer so far. Colonel Jonathan Steinberg was killed by a Hamas fighter while he was on his way to a site of clashes. Col Steinberg was the commander of the IDF's Nahal Infantry Brigade.
