California-based Star Wars fans created and uploaded an amateur trailer for the highly anticipated “The Force Awakens” movie that is set for release this December.The fan version of the trailer was filmed between October 24 and November 11 and has quickly turned into an online hit.Work on this low-budget interpretation began soon after the official teaser was released in October, according to the video creators Bryan Harley and Roque Rodriguez. It took them about 3 weeks to complete the entire production.In order to keep expenses as low as possible they created set pieces, props and costumes out of cardboard or other materials they came across in their home. They will also organise a semi-annual amateur film festival encouraging movie fans to interpret their favourite films in under 4-minute-long productions.
