A day after the wreckage of the missing AN-32 plane was spotted, search was on to locate the crew members. The Indian Air Force's transport aircraft had gone missing on June 3 when it was going from Jorhat in Assam to Mechuka near the border with China. The wreckage was finally spotted by an Mi-17 helicopter of the IAF on Tuesday. A search party consisting of IAF and Army personnel and mountaineers has been airlifted to the area to look for survivors, if any.
