Watch: Bull-taming sport Jallikattu begins in Madurai

The traditional bull-taming sport of jallikattu began in Tamil Nadu's Madurai on Wednesday. Jallikattu, which is held during pongal, will see the participation of thousands of bull across Tamil Nadu. A swarm of spectators were seen cheering on the bull tamers in Madurai. Jallikattu had been banned by the Supreme Court in 2014 but the ban was later lifted after massive protests in the state.
