India responds after China cries ‘sabotage’ over Amit Shah’s Arunachal trip

India responded to China's statements regarding the Union Home Minister's recent trip. Amit Shah travelled to Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of the north-eastern state's 34th Statehood Day. Beijing called the visit a violation of its 'territorial sovereignty' and accused Delhi of 'sabotaging political mutual trust'. China claims Arunachal as a part of its territory and routinely objects to Indian leaders' visits to the state. India delivered a strong response to Beijing's statement, stating unequivocally that the state is an inalienable and integral part of India, and that China's remarks do not stand to reason and understanding.
