Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has pitched for a pan-India ban on liquor. Speaking at Convention on Liquor Free India in the national capital, Nitish Kumar said that banning liquor in some states is not enough as those who want to drink will go to other states and consume alcohol. He also cited some such cases where people from Bihar would go to Jharkhand and come back after consuming alcohol. Nitish said that liquor ban was Mahatma Gandhi's biggest dream.
