8 killed in Bengal panchayat polls

Eight people were killed in the third phase of panchayat in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Sunday. Of the eight dead in Domkol and Raninagar towns, five were activists of state's ruling CPI(M), and three of federal main ruling Congress party. More than 35 people were injured in the poll violence.
