Abdul Kalam as country's environment ambassador

Students from across India have voted for former President APJ Abdul Kalam to become the country's first environment ambassador. Forest and environment minister Jairam Ramesh felicitated Kalam, who was chosen unanimously through a campaign conducted in 200,000 schools across India at a function in New Delhi.
