Advani kicks off poll campaign in UP

The senior leader of Bhartiya Janata Party, LK Advani kicked off campaign in Uttar Pradesh despite no firm indication of early polls. Advani who is projected as the prime ministerial candidate blamed the ruling UPA government for spiraling prices. There emerged a strong speculation of an early election following a recent precipitation of split in the communist-backed ruling coalition over the Indo-US nuclear deal.
