Ajit Pawar’s resignation political ploy to escape from investigation: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party has termed the resignation of former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar as a political ploy to escape from investigation of charges levelled against him. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, BJP Spokesperson, Kirit Somaiya said Pawar was trying to gain sympathy from people through this drama of resignation.
