Assam police firing: 2 killed, many injured

Two persons were killed and more than ten others injured when police opened fire at a mob on Monday in Assam's Goalpara district after it turned violent. The violence was triggered after a body of the 50-year-old cowherd, who was missing since Sunday, was found on Monday morning at Mailapathar area near Rakshashini forest of the district.
