The Bangladeshi cricket team went in a celebratory mode as it registered its second big win in a row and entered the Asia Cup final upstaging Sri Lanka by five wickets, in Mirpur on Tuesday. Chasing a target of 212 for victory in 40 overs in a rain-affected game, Bangladesh won in the 38th over, thanks to half-centuries by Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. The hosts will now face Pakistan in the final.
