BJP snubs the code of conduct violation by its party leader

India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party underplayed the reports of distribution of money by its party leader Jaswant Singh at an election campaign whereas the Congress party sought action by the Election Commission into it. Jaswant Singh, a senior BJP leader was caught on camera handing money to a local during an election campaign in Barmer district in Rajasthan.
