Borders sealed ahead of final phase of UP polls

Security is at an all-time high in Uttar Pradesh, which votes in the last and final phase on Tuesday. International borders with Nepal have been sealed to ensure no criminals cross over to hijack voting. Bakshi also added that checking was on to prevent any anti-social element from crossing over from lawless Bihar. The seven-phased polls began in April and counting of votes is scheduled on May 11 with the results expected the same day.
