Britain’s Prince Andrew in India

Britain's Prince Andrew, the Duke of York is on a visit to India for a week, in a bid to enhance ties with India in diverse areas including defence and trade. The Prince also had a fruitful meeting with Foreign Minister S M Krishna and discussed various important and strategic issues in New Delhi. The Prince came to India to represent Queen Elizabeth II in the year of her Diamond Jubilee. Prince Andrew also said that his visit would incorporate a wide range of themes, from inclusive development and defence ties to the growing business relationship.
