Congress demands CBI probe into Saradha chitfund scam

Congress leaders reached Governor's official house in Kolkata to demand a CBI probe into Chief minister Mamata Banerjee's alleged involvement in the infamous multi million Saradha chitfund scam. Congress leader MD Shorab demanded the CBI to probe into the matter to find the truth. Earlier, the state government suspended TMC leader Kunal Ghosh for his alleged involved in the scam and also formed a special committee to carry out an instant probe into the dubious activities of investment company Saradha Group that duped thousands of depositors.
