Domestic workers in Mumbai have demanded implementation of proposals of the International Labour Conference (ILC). The workers demand four leaves a month, old-age pension, medical facilities and accommodation from the government. The International Labour Conference is a yearly event, held each June in Geneva, Switzerland, and is hosted by the International Labour Organisation, a specialized agency of the United Nations that deals with labour issues. The conference makes decisions on the organisation's general policy, work programme, and budget, and creates conventions and recommendations.
