Elections in Kashmir no solution: Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir is on a threshold for fresh assembly elections to end months of central rule but National Conference chief, Omar Abdullah on Friday said that elections should not be de-linked from the broader dispute over the region. Seven-phased polling will take place from November 17 to December 24 to replace Congress party-led coalition, which fell in July over a Hindu land transfer row.
