Fresh rehab package to 2005 quake victims

A fresh rehabilitation package has perked up residents of border town Uri in Kashmir that bore the brunt of a devastating earthquake more than a year ago. The Central government recently announced fresh allocations to the tune of 6.35 billion rupees towards rehabilitation in the region. Local residents, still struggling through damaged houses, no schools, roads and tattered water supply, welcomed the relief.
