Ganesha Chaturthi goes eco-friendly way

In a bid to create awareness about protecting the environment, students in Vishakhapatnam have designed eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha, ahead of Ganesha Chaturthi. A workshop provided the knowledge to the students about environmental hazards and encouraged them to contribute to the cause by creating eco friendly idols. Organizer and trainer, Sujata, said that the purpose of the workshop was to create awareness about the conservation of environment and to acquaint the students about significance of the festival.
