India's Minister of Steel Virbhadra Singh on Sunday said that the government has no control over the pricing of steel and the market forces decide this aspect. He further noted that the prices of steel are not that much high that could be considered alarming. It may be recalled Pranab Mukherjee, India's Finance Minister had claimed that the steel sector is expected to grow by 6-9 per cent in 2010 on higher demand from the real estate, construction and automobile sectors.
