Ind vs Oz 1st Test: India draw first blood

India defeated Australia by eight wickets on the fifth and final day of the first Test that was played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Needing a mere 50 runs to wrap the match up, India lost the wickets of its openers Murali Vijay and Virender Sehwag before batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar smashed two sixes to bring a quick end to what was already an inevitable result.
