India to make civilian passenger aircraft

The National Aerospace Laboratories or NAL, based in Bangalore would soon be designing a 70-seater passenger aircraft. This would cost about 480 million dollars. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has provided rupees 3 billion in this regard. The aircraft is expected to be developed in seven years.
