Chilly weather continued to sweep across the north India bringing life almost to a standstill on Sunday. In the national capital New Delhi, locals were seen warming their hands near the bonfires as they drank tea to keep themselves warm from the chilly breeze. The scene at the railway station was that of chaos as hundreds of passengers waited for their trains to steam in but were later told that the trains were either late, rescheduled or cancelled due to thick fog. In Kullu too, locals at many places were seen wrapped up in their woollens while warming their hands near the fire.
