Longest Mehndi mela to create record

A mega Mehndi mela was organised by the Gujarati Mahila Mandal in the steel city of Salem, in collaboration with Terapanth Mahila Mandal and Inner Wheel Club. Interestingly, this event is expected to make its presence felt in the pages of Limca Book of Records as the longest single Mehndi mela in terms of time duration as well as number of persons to whom the Mehndi was applied.
