New Karnataka CM to be elected on August 3

Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary and in-charge of party affairs for Karnataka, Dharmendra Pradhan, on Sunday said that the next leader of the state legislature would be announced on August 03 in state capital, Bangalore. Earlier in the day, former state chief BS Yeddyurappa tendered his resignation to Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj, following allegations of corruption charges against him.
