Chief of Congress party Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday inaugurated a 1,054 kilometres long pipeline at Chitroli village in Rajasthan. This pipeline will enable nation's second largest oil firm, Hindustan Petroleum to transport petroleum products to the northern parts of the country. The 17.57 billion rupee pipeline will carry petroleum-oil-lubricants from refineries of HPCL and other firms such as Indian Oil Corporation including Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd in southern India.
