Nullify ordinance on convicted lawmakers: CPI

After the ordinance to protect convicted MPs and MLAs from immediate disqualification was forwarded by the government to the President for approval, the CPI said that for the betterment of parliamentary democratic system, the government should nullify the ordinance.
