Pilots’ strike enters sixth day, Air India cancels 90 % flights

Air India cancelled 90 per cent of its domestic flights as the strike by its pilots entered sixth day today. The deadlock has left hundreds of passengers stranded on airports across India. Passengers even complained about the lack of information about the cancellation of flights. The standoff began when more than 660 pilots of the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), went on an indefinite strike on April 27 demanding pay parity. They were joined by 200 executive pilots a day later.
