PM promises special attention to minorities

Addressing the nation from the Red Fort on India's 65th Independence Day, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday said that the government has paid special attention to the welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities, women and other weaker sections.
