Police have arrested 11 suspects having links with foreign-based militant outfits such as Lashkar-e-Toiba (Let) and Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI) in Karnataka. Local media reported that one of them is a journalist working with an English daily in the state and the other is a software engineer. Meanwhile, Karnataka's director general of police (DGP), Lalrokhuma Pachau, said that the ultras were planning to target some very important personalities in the state. However, the police refused to divulge more as it could hamper the interrogation.
