Protest in Manipur against alleged killing by security forces

Manipur on Sunday witnessed large-scale protests over recent killings, allegedly by the security forces. A pregnant woman and a suspected militant were shot dead and five others injured in a shootout at nearby Khwairamband market on July 23. The slogan-shouting protestors including women blocked the main road and forced a shutdown of the nearby market.
