Protests continue in Jammu

Protests by the Hindu community continue in Jammu over the government's revocation of an order to transfer forest land to the Amarnath Shrine Board. An indefinite curfew has been imposed in the area to prevent law and order disturbances. The curfew will be in place till Sunday. Protesters burnt tyres on the streets and some who clashed with the police were taken into custody.
