Recession affects embroidery trade of 'Zardozi'

Artisans engaged in gold and silver based embroidery known as Zardozi in Agra, are passing through a horrid time. On account of global recessionary trends, there has been a sharp decline for the fabrics and other apparels embedded with the enchanting 'Zardozi'. Zardozi is done with utmost precision and hence the products carry expensive price tags, which a commoner can't afford.
