SC reserves order on referring quota issue to Constitution Bench

The Supreme Court on Wednesday reserved its order on the Centre's plea to refer to a Constitution Bench the issue of 27 per cent quota for OBCs in elite educational institutions like IIMs and IITs. A Bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat and LS Panta asked Solicitor General GE Vahanvati and senior advocate Harish Salve to compile the various questions put forward by contesting parties.
