Security stepped up in south Mumbai ahead of WC final

South Mumbai has turned into a fortress for the cricket World Cup final on April 2. Security measures have been beefed up around the match venue Wankhede stadium in the city. The traffic police have declared the area around the stadium a no-vehicle zone, with some concessions to VVIPs. Force One, Maharashtra police's elite counter-terrorist commando unit set up after the 26/11 terror attacks, along with the National Security Guard (NSG), would be part of the massive security cordon for the World Cup final to be held on Saturday.
