SP activists demonstrate against Akhilesh Yadav's arrest

Samajwadi Party activists on Wednesday demonstrated in Lucknow after the arrest of their party leader Akhilesh Yadav today. Lucknow soon turned into a battlefield as police arrested dozens of protestors and batoncharged them on the streets of the city. Akhilesh Yadav, the son of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, was arrested from Amausi airport today morning to prevent him from taking part in protests against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and her party.
