An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale rocked the Indian capital, New Delhi and its surrounding areas at dawn on Monday morning, shaking high-rise buildings. The epicentre of the tremor, felt at 4:42 am, was near the border of New Delhi and the neighbouring state of Haryana, which surrounds the Capital on its north, west and south. There were no reports of any major damage anywhere in and around the city.
