UPA allies meet to discuss strategy ahead of monsoon session

A meeting of leaders of the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) was held in New Delhi on Monday evening ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament that begins July 26. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi attended the meeting as also all allies except railway minister and Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar.
