Violence erupts in Jammu

Violence continued to rock Jammu following a shutdown called by a Hindu outfit on Friday. Aggression broke out as Hindus protesting the revocation of land allotted to the shrine. Activists burnt vehicles and pelted stone as curfew was lifted. Police baton-charged the agitators and rounded up at least 40 including some leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party.
