Wall collapse in Thane kills 8

At least eight people were killed and seven injured when a wall collapsed in the Thane district of Maharashtra in the wee hours of Wednesday. The incident occurred when the compound wall of an under construction residential complex in Thane's Gyaneshwar area crumbled under heavy rains.
