When celebrations turned fatal…

The post-poll celebrations of the Samajwadi Party (SP), victorious in Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, claimed their first victim in Bhim Nagar district on Tuesday. 12 year-old Mohammad Daniyal was watching a procession to celebrate the SP candidate Iqbal Masood's victory, when a stray bullet from a party supporter's gun hit him, killing him on the spot.
