Cloud eggs have become the Internet's new favourite breakfast choice with users uploading thousands of photos to social media in recent weeks. Video shot in the Table Cafe restaurant in London shows chef, Shaun Alpine-Crabtree, trying his hand at the latest food craze as he prepares the dish for the very first time. Another clip uploaded to Instagram by user Phil McElhone features stills showcasing the various stages of preparing the viral dish. In order to prepare cloud eggs one needs to first separate the yolks from the whites, whisk the whites and create a hollow in the middle where the yolks will be put later. The next step is to bake them in an oven for six minutes, put the yolks inside the hollows created earlier and place the dish back in the oven for three minutes. Optional extras such as cheese, bacon or ham can also be included in the picturesque dish.
