Sunny Deol files nomination from Punjab’s Gurdaspur

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sunny Deol filed his nomination papers on Monday. He was accompanied by his brother and actor Bobby Deol. Sunny Deol is BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Punjab's Gurdaspur constituency. He is contesting against Congress' candidate and sitting MP Sunil Jakhar. The actor-turned-politician joined BJP on April 23. Punjab will vote on May 19 in a single phase. Sunny Deol has starred in blockbuster Bollywood films like 'Border', 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'.
