  • After Union Minister Narayan Rane’s dramatic arrest over “would have slapped Uddhav” comment, an old video of Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray went viral. In the video from 2018, Uddhav was reportedly heard talking about hitting Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath with slippers. After the video surfaced BJP filed a complaint against Uddhav over his alleged derogatory remarks. Earlier on August 24, Cabinet Minister Rane was arrested after his comments on Uddhav.
