CWG 2022: PV Sindhu, Manpreet Singh lead Indian contingent at opening ceremony

The Commonwealth Games 2022 kick-started with a glittering opening ceremony in Birmingham. Ace shuttler PV Sindhu and Indian men's Hockey team captain Manpreet Singh were the flagbearers, leading the Indian contingent. Dressing in an ethnic sherwani, Indian players dazzled the opening ceremony. 215 athletes will represent India in 141 events in 19 sporting disciplines this year.
